Teamwork is all around us in life. We see it in marriages, businesses, neighborhoods, churches, etc. God loves to see Christians working together submitting to His will.

'the body is one unit and yet has many parts. As all the parts form one body, so it is with Christ. By one Spirit we were all baptized into one body.'
1 Corinthians 12:12-13

In Christianity there is one body, but there are many different functions. God has blessed us all differently. With our individual gifts and talents, we are able to glorify God and add to His higher purpose.

Most of us are aware of the saying "no man is an Island" neither were we created to be. The Devil knows well that there is safety in numbers, so often times will try to keep us isolated and vulnerable. But this is not God's intentions. Together we can encourage each other, pray for one another and be strengthened.

'Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.' - Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

Message - Never underestimate the power of people. It takes people to make a difference. One person can achieve a lot, but imagine the impact that can be accomplished with people who are united in passion and vision.

Promise - "...a threefold cord is not quickly broken", once we decide to adventure ourselves into fellowship, the Bible guarantees strength and security.

'Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another'
Proverbs 27:17

There is so much that can be learnt from others, or even to teach others. We can be challenged and inspired to step out of our comfort zone, even with just the security of knowing you are not alone.

God created us for fellowship, we are social beings for a reason. He made us in a way that we can rely on one another. How else can we be Christlike and imitate the Love God pours on us, onto others if there are no people amongst us? The feet can not function effectively without other parts of the body, neither can the hands or the eyes. No matter how small or insignificant it may seem, there is always a purpose.

God created you with a purpose, which is to discover your place in the Body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You are loved!
